Hailing, the central district of Taizhou city, is located in the middle of East China's Jiangsu province on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, covering 370 square kilometers with 577,000 residents and boasting combined air, rail, road and waterway transportation architecture.

Air: Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport is 20 km from the district and six more airports are within a two-hour drive of Hailing including Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.

Rail: Xinyi-Changxing Railway and Nanjing-Qindong Railway run through Hailing district. There are six lines leading to 63 major cities in the country. The combined railway transport hub in Taizhou, based at West Freight Station, will soon launch a freight express from Hailing to Shanghai Port.

Road: Five national expressways, namely Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Nanjing-Nantong Expressway, Nanjing-Jingjiang-Yancheng Expessway, Qidong-Yangzhou Expressway and Taizhou-Zhenjiang Expressway, run through Hailing, with Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge and Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge connecting the southern and northern banks of the Yangtze River.

Waterway: Taizhou Port, a Category-1 Port approved by the State Council, is 10 km from Hailing and capable of berthing 50,000-ton class to 100,000-ton class freighters. Yinjiang River and the New Tongyang Kanal stretch far into the heartland of Hailing, seamlessly linking other rivers to the Yangtze River and the Yellow Sea.
