The first all-age smart health station in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has been put into use in Zhongrun community, where the elderly population is 30 percent.
The station is equipped with advanced technologies and features 26 functional rooms covering eight major service areas, including health consultation and future wellness.
The professional intelligent health and wellness equipment can cater to the needs of different groups. The electrolytic hydrogen rich water machines and multifunctional therapeutic devices can assist residents in daily health preservation, while the three-in-one energy bucket and micro hyperbaric oxygen chamber provide scientific conditioning solutions for chronic disease populations.
The star of the store is the 360-degree internal heat conduction cellular energy cabin. "What a magical tool! After the lumbar spine surgery, I never dared to move much. Unexpectedly, lying in the "space capsule" for 20 minutes, I was sweating profusely and my whole body was transparent," said Shan Honglan, a 58-year-old resident.
The community has also established electronic health records for each resident, accurately recommends health care equipment based on actual conditions, and records their health information for continuous tracking.
"What we want to do is not just provide a resting place, but build a health service system that covers all age groups," said Hou Rongxing, an official of the community.
