- Industrial base

Taizhou is a national ship export base, the country's largest private shipbuilding base and the world's largest ship anchor chain manufacturing base. After years of development, Taizhou's shipbuilding industry has basically completed its industrial supply chain from building, repairing, and dismantling to support facilities. It is home to the top five shipbuilding enterprises in the country, such as New Era Shipbuilding and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group. It is one of the most internationally competitive industries in Taizhou. Its annual shipbuilding capacity exceeds 12 million dwt. In 2021, Taizhou completed 104 ships, of 9.36 million dwt in total, accounting for 11.1 percent of output in the world.

· Large container ships, LNG, LPG transport ships, chemicals tankers and other high-tech and high value-added ships

· Key support products including marine power, communications and navigation, deck machinery, electronic controls, air conditioning pump valves, sewage treatment, mooring chain products, etc.
