Innovative project from Taizhou city wins a national award

The fifth China Chuangyi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition national finals rang down the curtains in Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province recently.

An intraoperative neural monitoring and navigations system submitted by the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – won an excellence award in the manufacturing category of the national contest.

Earlier in the year, the zone organized its sixth innovation and entrepreneurship competition. The winning project stood out from all the competitors and won top prize in the innovation group of the competition.

The Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone has been vigorously supporting innovation and entrepreneurial activities. Besides holding innovation and entrepreneurship competitions every year, the zone has also given support to entrepreneurial projects in terms of start-up guarantee loans, training and counseling and financial support, among others.
