Zhu Lifan, Party secretary of Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province, gave a presentation on his city and sent out an invitation to the political and business elites in Beijing to go there, at a symposium in the national capital on Feb 14.

Promoting his city, he cited three spring-themed classic Chinese poems to describe it in terms of its transportation, economic growth, people's livelihoods and business environment.

Situated at the intersection of the one-hour commuting circle of Shanghai and Nanjing, Taizhou is a hub city for the interactive development of the Yangtze River Delta region in Jiangsu province.

Its convenient transport network, well-developed commuter flows, logistics and information flows are expected to bring investors prosperity.

These days, high quality development in Taizhou is on the rise everywhere.

The city is also said to have made impressive progress in coordinating its COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development in the past three years. It has also been named as a China's Happiest City for three consecutive years.

The city is currently striving to improve its business environment in the fields of policies, markets, government services, legal governance and social cares.

Zhu vowed that the best services, the most favorable policies and excellent treatment in Taizhou would ensure that entrepreneurs flourished and lived a comfortable and content life there.
