Students across Taizhou city take gaokao

This year's college entrance examination, also known as the gaokao, kicked off on June 7 in Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – in a scene that was repeated across the nation.

While parents of the gaokao takers helped their children prepare, other people from all walks of life were doing their own bit to ensure that it ran smoothly for the students.
