Spirit of volunteering: Inspiring story of Ma Rusong

Joseph, an expat teacher from the United States, is currently working at Jiangyan No. 2 Middle School in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Joseph has developed a deep love for China and often shares his experiences with his family and friends back home.

One day, Joseph came across a remarkable story that intrigued him. He learned about Ma Rusong, an 82-year-old retired maths teacher, who had devoted over 20 years of his retirement to volunteering as a tutor for students on weekends and holidays.
