VII. MSC IRINA: the world's largest "king of cargo"

On March 11, 2023, the world's largest container ship MSC IRINA (Xinfu 102), began its maiden voyage.

Built by Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, the vessel has a capacity of 24,346 TEUs and is a new record in terms of size for ultra-large container ships. With a length of 399.99 meters and a moulded breadth of 61.3 meters, it is a true global cargo giant.
