Pharma talent seek opportunities in Taizhou

The 11th China International Pharmaceutical Talent Exchange Conference kicked off on Oct 20 in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

The two-day event saw more than 100 leading companies offer over 1,500 jobs related to finance, marketing, production, quality control, clinical registration, and research and development within the pharmaceutical sector.

The event attracted over 3,000 students from over 20 renowned pharmaceutical academies and universities, including China Pharmaceutical University and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.

The local government has over the years introduced eight measures as well as provided financial and resource support to entice young talents to establish their careers in the region.

This year's event saw a significant surge in student participation, said Zhang Xudong, the deputy secretary of the Pharmaceutical College at Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College. He pointed out that a record crowd of more than 500 students from the school had turned up at the conference to check out the job opportunities on offer.

He noted that this surge highlights the growing interest in job opportunities within Taizhou's pharmaceutical industry and underlines the city's significance as a pharmaceutical hub.
