Taizhou enhances ecological support for private enterprises

The Taizhou ecological and environment bureau has implemented a series of measures aimed at bolstering ecological services for private companies, thus contributing to economic growth in the region.

By prioritizing the development of enterprises, the bureau has initiated various services, including free consultations, enterprise visits, and a green island project.

Under the guidance of Wu Xiaoping, deputy director of the Taizhou ecological and environment bureau, the free consultations address technical challenges related to pollution control. The consultations offer door-to-door service that addresses issues that arise from a lack of awareness of relevant laws, which ultimately promotes the high-quality development of businesses.

Enterprise visits provide targeted solutions for companies facing obstacles in their development process. Through coordinated efforts, enterprises receive support from various government departments.

The green island project focuses on the centralized collection and disposal of pollutants. Jingjiang, administered by Taizhou, has diligently put this project into action, boasting a daily hazardous waste treatment capacity of 100 metric tons and an annual collection capacity of 5,000 tons. This capacity can meet the needs of approximately 3,000 small and micro enterprises each year.

To date, Taizhou has completed 13 green island projects and is accelerating the construction of another nine projects.
