Taizhou recognized as Jiangsu's first TCM health tourism hub

Taizhou was recently named among the inaugural batch of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) health tourism demonstration areas in China.

It is the only place in Jiangsu province to make the list.

Taizhou has several notable TCM institutions, including the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jumpcan TCM health town, Longfengtang, and the TCM industrial park of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group.

The city is also home to over 400 TCM establishments, including century-old specialty departments and renowned traditional pharmacies.

There are presently over 500,000 mu (33,333 hectares) of TCM crops that have benefited local farmers and raised their incomes.
