Gushan town in Jingjiang, Taizhou, welcomed crowds of citizens and tourists for its annual Sanyuesan Temple Fair, a beloved tradition celebrating local culture and community on the third day of the third month in the Chinese calendar.
More than 600 stalls lined the streets, offering daily necessities, specialty foods, green plants, clothing, accessories, and fun games like archery and ring toss, creating a lively and bustling atmosphere.

The main square in front of Gushan Mountain hosted the core market area, where villages from Gushan town showcased their signature farm products, handmade intangible cultural heritage crafts, and sweets.
Chen Ming, Party secretary of Lezhuang Community, shared that in recent years, the community has encouraged residents to grow oil crops and invested in equipment for oil pressing and packaging, which have become popular among customers. Shiqiao village promoted its local black barley and rice, which sold out quickly thanks to their high quality and affordable prices.
In addition to local vendors, agricultural and specialty products from nearby towns also appeared, including pickles from Xilai town and traditional fermented flatbread from Jishi town.

The traditional temple fair also blended heritage with contemporary flair. Cosplayers brought vibrant energy to the event, captivating crowds with colorful costumes and immersive pop-culture performances. Meanwhile, interactive stations offered visitors hands-on fun — free photo booths and custom badge making to interactive games — allowing them to take home unique keepsakes inspired by Gushan's cultural elements.
