The Jingjiang leg of the 2025 Tour of Yangtze River Delta successfully concluded on April 26. Over 200 cycling enthusiasts from clubs across Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, and other regions gathered for the event, which featured a 9.6-kilometer individual time trial and an 8-kilometer leisure ride.

Cyclists rode through lush wetlands and along the magnificent Yangtze River shoreline, passing towering dawn redwoods and swaying reeds, with shimmering river views along the way. The course highlighted Jingjiang's achievements in ecological restoration and Yangtze River conservation.

"Feeling the river breeze while cycling along such a scenic and challenging route was truly a breathtaking experience!" said a participant from Nanjing.

A local market was also set up at the event, offering specialties such as salted duck eggs, salted herbs, and Indian aster from Desheng village in Xinqiao town, as well as organic rice and traditional zodiac-themed clay figurines from Lisheng village. The market drew many visitors, with more than 100 sets of Jingjiang creative cultural products proving especially popular.

"These works combine Jingjiang's local charm with unique elements from different towns. Many visitors placed orders on the spot," said a person in charge at the market.
