Taizhou hosts choral competition and Zijin Chorus Festival qualifiers

The 2025 Taizhou Choral Competition and the 7th Zijin Chorus Festival Qualifiers began at Nanjing Normal University Taizhou College on July 10. A total of 32 choirs from throughout the city performed, demonstrating their vocal skills in a musical showdown.

The competition featured four categories: children, youth, adults, and seniors, with each group delivering unique and engaging performances. Ranging from the grace of traditional choral pieces to creative and varied presentation styles, the event offered the audience a diverse and immersive audiovisual experience.

As one of the most professional and influential choral events in Jiangsu province, the Zijin Chorus Festival is held every two years, featuring preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds. To support participating teams in improving their performances, Taizhou will introduce a special enhancement program for the four chosen choirs.

The event not only highlighted the city's thriving choral culture but also reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing musical talent and promoting artistic excellence.
