During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Taizhou offered visitors a feast of festivities, with over 1,000 cultural and tourism events, driving a strong surge in the city's tourism market.

From Peking Opera performances and Mid-Autumn-themed activities to drone shows, specialty markets, and local delicacies like morning tea and hairy crabs, Taizhou's rich holiday offerings attracted large numbers of tourists from across the country.

According to preliminary statistics, during the eight-day holiday, Taizhou received about 6.85 million visitors, a 30.21 percent year-on-year increase, and generated tourism revenue of approximately 4.19 billion yuan ($588 million), up 28.35 percent compared with the same period last year.
