Taizhou strengthens business environment

Taizhou has been actively working to improve its business environment in recent years, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to grow and succeed.

Thanks to these efforts, numerous companies have experienced substantial growth. For instance, Jiangsu Hanfeng CNC Technology's annual output value rose from 20 million yuan ($2.81 million) to 150 million yuan. Chairman Wei Wenquan praised Taizhou's support: "We established ourselves in Jiangyan district in 2021 and have continually received assistance from the local government. They have helped us connect with universities for talent recruitment and even coordinated guidance from a local academician to offer advice on technological innovation and enterprise development planning."

Jiangsu Suzhong Pharmaceutical Group Medical Devices emphasized how government support assisted it in navigating regulatory hurdles. Its main product, a disposable biliary imaging catheter, encountered registration issues. Wu Huihui, the company's general office, said, "The Taizhou Market Regulation Administration guided us through the registration channels and procedures. Thanks to their support, we secured certification in roughly a year — a quick turnaround for the medical device field. The product is now available and receiving positive reviews."

Large-scale projects have also benefited from Taizhou's optimized business services. Yi Qingzheng, director of Guoxin Jingjiang Power Station's expansion project, worth over 10 billion yuan, said, "Taizhou regulatory authorities actively supported us, simplified approval processes, and reduced processing times, which greatly boosted project efficiency."
