A delegation of senior emergency management officials from Russian-speaking Belt and Road countries recently visited Taizhou for a three-day study and exchange program organized by China's Ministry of Emergency Management.
The group included 34 senior officials from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia, and other countries.
During their visit, the delegation toured Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park to learn about its flood drainage, water management, and ecological protection practices. They also visited Chenxin Heavy Industry and ZYFire Hose to observe enterprise safety management practices and conducted research at the chemical training base in the Taixing Economic Development Zone.
The officials praised Taizhou's emergency management practices and expressed strong interest in further cooperation with local enterprises in areas such as steel structure production and fire safety equipment manufacturing. "Taizhou's scenery, industrial foundation, and emergency management practices left a deep impression on me," one delegation member said.

The exchange not only fostered mutual learning in emergency management between China and Belt and Road countries but also created new opportunities for industrial investment and technological cooperation between Taizhou and participating nations.
