Taizhou named one of China's happiest cities for sixth consecutive year

The 2025 Happy Cities Forum was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province on Dec 9, with the 2025 Happiest Cities rankings announced. Taizhou was once again recognized, marking the sixth consecutive year the city has received this honor.

The "Happiest Cities" initiative is organized by Xinhua News Agency's Oriental Outlook Weekly. Now in its 19th year, the program has recognized more than 100 cities and districts across China, becoming one of the country's most influential city-focused events.
