Taizhou-born Liu Junxi stormed to victory in the men's 60-meter hurdles final at the 2026 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, clocking an impressive 7.53 seconds to claim the gold medal.

Born in December 2003 in Jingjiang, Liu is currently a member of the Jiangsu provincial track and field team. His latest triumph marks another milestone in his rising career and adds to Jiangsu's growing presence on the Asian athletics stage.
