Taizhou firms secure $1.8 million in deals at East China Fair

The 34th East China Import and Export Fair concluded on March 4 after four days of exhibitions and business exchanges, with companies from Taizhou, Jiangsu, achieving strong results.

A total of 21 foreign trade enterprises from Taizhou participated in the fair, setting up 34 booths. The scale of participation exceeded that of the previous edition.

During the event, Taizhou companies received more than 400 visits from buyers from countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, and markets in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The firms reached intended deals worth more than $1.8 million.

According to the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, local companies showcased a wide range of new and competitive products, including apparel fabrics and accessories, home textiles, consumer electronics, home decor and gifts, daily consumer goods, and sports and leisure products.

Among the exhibitors, Jiangsu Yushuo Sporting Goods presented products such as pet toys and eco-friendly tennis balls, aligning with the global trend toward green consumption.

Meanwhile, Jiangsu Love.Shiqi Home Textile presented a diverse array of products, including towels, blankets, cushions and gift sets, all designed with a focus on comfort and a gift-oriented aesthetic. The offerings received positive feedback from visiting buyers.

The strong presence of Taizhou enterprises at the fair reflects the city's growing capabilities in manufacturing innovation and its continued efforts to expand into global markets.
