The first five-day phase of the 133rd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded on April 19 in the city of Guangzhou, Guangdong province, with Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province generating profitable results.
A total of 63 Taizhou companies attended the first Canton Fair this year, resulting in 267 orders and $30 million worth of deals.
Jiangsu Linhai Power Machinery Group Co Ltd, a company based in Taizhou's Hailing district, specializes in developing and producing mini-type motive and supporting machinery for over 60 years. It received over 200 customers at the fair and obtained nearly $6 million in intended orders.
Hailing also reached agreements on three intended cooperation projects on April 15.
This year's Canton Fair has attracted domestic and foreign buyers from over 220 countries and regions. It will be held in three phases from April 15 to May 5.
