Founded in 2003, Hailing Industrial Park – located in the Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is emerging as an impressive and dynamic urban industrial park.
Throughout 20 years of development, it's accelerated the transformation of traditional industries and continued to innovate and develop – evolving into an urban industrial park, a science and innovation new area and a livable urban area.
At present, the park is home to over 400 industrial manufacturers, including 51 high-tech enterprises.
From 2020 to 2022, it generated a total industrial output value above a designated size of 67.59 billion yuan ($9.29 billion), accounting for 40 percent of the district's total.
During the period, the park achieved a total import and export volume worth $4.69 billion, accounting for 77 percent of the total from Hailing district.
The latest evaluation results showed that the park was ranked 15th among 91 economic development zones in the province, its best ranking ever.
