This year marked the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hailing Industrial Park – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – and over the two decades, it's posted top results.
Through its dedicated efforts, it leaped to 15th position on the list of the 91 provincial development zones in Jiangsu in 2023, up 12 places from the previous year.
Currently, it's home to over 400 manufacturers. Of these, 51 are high-tech outfits and 88 are manufacturers above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.79 million) or more.
From January to October, the value of total output by resident manufacturers above a designated size hit 21.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22 percent.
During the period, its general public budget revenue surged to 520 million yuan, rocketing 55 percent year-on-year.
