Jiangsu Zhitai New Energy Technology Co Ltd – based in the Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou city, situated in East China's Jiangsu province – recently clinched a major bid to build a new sodium-ion power station energy storage facility for listed utility and energy services group Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co Ltd.

Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy operates in the field of clean energy investments. Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, it is a key player in the international and market-focused clean energy investment platform that was established by Beijing Energy Group Co Ltd.
The company generates gas-fired power and heat energy, wind power, solar power and hydropower – as well as being involved in emerging fields like hydrogen energy, energy storage and integrated energy.
Its business extends across all 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, as well as into overseas markets in countries including Australia and Vietnam under the RCEP trade agreement framework.
Moving forwards, plans are for Jiangsu Zhitai New Energy Technology and Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy to leverage their strengths to support national objectives such as achieving a peak carbon and carbon neutrality.
Grounded in the principles of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, equal consultation and win-win cooperation", their partnership is expected to help drive the energy storage industry forwards.
