The medical intelligent disposable electronic hysteroscope project recommended by the Women's Federation of Jingtai Road Sub-district of Hailing district, Taizhou, recently won the third prize in a women's entrepreneurship and innovation competition in Taizhou.
Yang Yang is one of the founders of the medical intelligent disposable electronic imaging catheter project by Jiangsu Jiyuan Medical Technology Corp.
At the early stage of the project, she and her team identified an increasing medical risk of cross-infection in the field of surgical instruments in China, particularly in gynecological medicine.
To benefit female patients, her team dedicated itself to developing the disposable electronic imaging catheter (a disposable hysteroscope surgical instrument) to ensure more affordable and effective healthcare for women.
She became involved in the award-winning project in 2017, contributing to the design, production, sale, and innovation.
Since the start of the project, it has created 61 jobs for women. After years of endeavors, the product is now sold in nearly 100 hospitals in China and exported to more than 20 countries worldwide.
