Over 40 students hailing from Taizhou gathered at the Hailing Industrial Park for a visiting event organized by the Taizhou human resources and social security department on Feb 10. They gained insight into their hometown's development and discovered new opportunities.
At the start of the event, staff from relevant departments introduced the city's industrial sectors, culture, history, and talent policies, calling on attendees to stay and contribute to the development of their hometown.
Four students shared their experiences and feelings about returning to work in Taizhou. "Taizhou is not a 'fallback option'; rather, it's about capitalizing on the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and the ongoing wave of industrial advancement," said Chen Yaxin, a master's candidate at Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
"The human and social departments also provide policy subsidies and support and organize exciting activities like discussions and tea parties," said Chen.
The earnest speeches struck a chord with the other students in attendance, and Taizhou's promising development prospects, along with its talent policies, left everyone confident in their decision to return home for work.
Following the discussion, the students toured Hailing district's industrial development exhibition hall, Jiangsu Yunyong Electronics and Technology, and Jiangsu Asoe Hose Manufacturing.
They gained comprehensive insight into Taizhou's cutting-edge advancements in intelligent manufacturing and new materials and witnessed fully the rapid pace of their hometown's development.
