Suneast New Energy Technology in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has officially launched its smart factory project in the city's Hailing Industrial Park on March 23, marking a major step towards digital transformation in the photovoltaic sector.
The project, spanning about 1.5 hectares, aims to establish a state-of-the-art research and manufacturing base for solar equipment, including photovoltaic bracket systems and energy storage devices.
Leveraging cutting-edge digital production technologies, the facility is set to become a benchmark for intelligent manufacturing in China's renewable energy industry. Upon completion, it is expected to generate an additional annual sales revenue of 500 million yuan ($72.64 million) and contribute over 10 million yuan in taxes annually.
This initiative not only underscores Suneast's commitment to innovation but also aligns with Hailing's broader vision of making its industrial ecosystem — focusing on new energy, automobiles, smart home appliances, and digital economy — both smarter and greener.
