As summer unfolds, Hailing district in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, transforms into a water-kissed city steeped in the delicate fragrance of blooming lotus flowers. Across local ponds and lakes, elegant pink and white lotus blossoms push through the calm water, unfurling their graceful petals to paint the most iconic scene of the season.
At Xiangtai Park, the lotus pond on the eastern side unfurls a vast expanse of emerald green leaves stretching as far as the eye can see.
