Backed by six years of cross-departmental exploration, Huang's team has built an integrated OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) architecture connecting all data across five steel processing centers, one steel pipe base and one smart manufacturing hub.
Its core "Hui Pin Gang" platform aggregates personalized dimension demands from over 7,000 downstream clients, using artificial intelligence algorithms to nest different cutting orders onto a single steel coil in under 60 seconds.

This "shared cloth tailoring" model drastically cuts material waste: for every 1 million metric tons of steel plates processed, it saves roughly 30,000 tons of raw materials and reduces carbon emissions by over 40,000 tons. The system has been listed on multiple data exchanges across Jiangsu province and East China, opening a new revenue stream of industrial chain data solutions beyond traditional steel distribution.
Local Hailing data authorities note Minhui's practice has set a replicable benchmark for regional digital transformation. Moving forward, Huang's team will focus on building a trusted industrial chain data space and deepening AI-data integration, targeting an AI-driven smart supply chain as the next milestone. The initiative aligns with national efforts to advance data factor market reform, offering a solid local path for high-quality industrial upgrading.
