Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has signed deals on five major industrial projects spanning new-energy vehicle manufacturing, precision components for two-wheelers, high-end functional protective materials and green food-grade packaging, a move expected to add more than 3.72 billion yuan ($554.26 million) in annual sales once the projects reach full operation.

The signing ceremony on Aug 12 brought together district leaders and corporate executives, including KEEWAY Group president Wang Jingyu. The selected ventures feature high technical barriers, strong industrial spillover and broad market potential, aligning closely with Hailing district's modern industrial framework that features new energy, automotives and parts, smart home, and digital economy.

Officials said the deals are designed to strengthen weak links, reinforce core segments and extend industrial chains within the park.

Hailing district's Party secretary Liu Jianbo attended the event, noting that the agreements represent an early milestone of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30) and ahead of Hailing's 30th anniversary.

He encouraged investors to deepen their commitment by locating core manufacturing links, innovation centers and regional headquarters in the district, while pledging continued improvements to the business environment.
