Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, hosted a major project signing ceremony on Sept 28, securing seven key industrial projects aimed at strengthening local supply chains and accelerating regional economic growth.

The newly signed initiatives focus on key growth sectors. A rare earth NdFeB permanent magnet project will introduce a full-chain industrial framework targeting emerging markets in electric motors and consumer electronics across the Yangtze River Delta region. A new metal materials project will drive resource recycling while revitalizing underutilized factory space to maximize land productivity.

In smart mobility, an electric bicycle manufacturing project brings e-bike and CKD (completely knocked down) assembly lines to Hailing, completing the region's lightweight transportation manufacturing segment. Additionally, a passive IoT (internet of things) sensor technology project — developed in partnership with the Shanghai Institute of Advanced Studies, Chinese Academy of Sciences — will advance hardware manufacturing and power local digital innovation.

The signed enterprises include industry-leading listed companies and high-quality investors from provinces such as Anhui and Zhejiang. By repurposing idle plants and innovation facilities, the park provides custom-tailored spatial solutions and comprehensive support for incoming businesses.

Moving forward, Hailing Industrial Park plans to deliver full-lifecycle services to expedite project implementation and drive sustained industrial momentum.
