Louzhuang town in Jiangyan district, Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province launched the opening ceremony for its first tourism festival on March 4, attracting crowds of residents and visitors.

Various activities were staged, including boat performances, Huangmei Opera performances, a "one village one product" tourism bazaar, fun competitions as well as parent-child farming experiences.

Located in the northeast of Jiangyan district, Louzhuang town is known for its industrial development. The tourism activity aimed to promote Louzhuang's rural tourism resources and attract more visitors.
Plans are afoot for the town to hold a series of recreation and leisure activities, including academic studies in the form of parent-child tours and the town's second exhibition of metal pipe fittings.
