The conference featured lively and colorful performances that showcased the rich humanities and stunning scenery on offer in Jiangyan.

Additionally, humorous talk shows provided fun and detailed insights into what visitors can see and do at the Qinhu Lake scenic area, which was rated as a national 5A tourist attraction in 2012. With its wonderful wetland ecology and environment, the scenic spot boasts abundant rivers and grasslands.

The upcoming Qintong Boat Festival, an 800-year-old event originating in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), starts on April 6 in the Qinhu Lake area. It will include 19 fun activities, such as a boat parade, boat races, musical festivals, wetland exploring and ancient town tours – inviting folks to immerse themselves in the natural beauty, historical culture, scenic landscape and local cuisine.

Sun Liangliang, Party secretary of the Jiangyan district committee, delivered a keynote speech at the conference – emphasizing the significance of fostering cooperation, cultural and tourism exchanges and mutually beneficial economic projects between Hefei and Jiangyan.

Ding Haiying, deputy director of the Hefei bureau of culture and tourism, underscored the close geographical and cultural ties between the two, promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta tourism market and services.

The conference was said to open a new chapter in cultural and tourism cooperation between Jiangyan and Hefei. During proceedings, it was announced that from April to December, both will offer half-price tickets to each other's residents to encourage more visits.
