The 12th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo – also known as ESIE2024 – was recently launched in the national capital of Beijing.
Energy storage manufacturer Shuangdeng Group Co Ltd from Taizhou city – in East China’s Jiangsu province – turned heads at the conference, introducing new products for household energy storage and large-scale energy storage applications.
The highlight of the event was the annual awards ceremony, with Yang Rui – chairman of the Shuangdeng Group – named as the 2024 Energy Storage Person of the Year.

Yang is widely said to have dedicated himself to the manufacturing sector, propelled by technological innovation and a steadfast commitment to creating value for both the industry and customers. Under his leadership, Shuangdeng Group has expanded its footprint across various areas of the energy storage industry.
Moreover, the company has topped the global shipment rankings for communications base stations and data center energy storage batteries among Chinese companies.
To top it off, it has earned a raft of awards, such as the national-level manufacturing single-category champion enterprise award and national intellectual property demonstration enterprise award.
