Jiangsu Dingchen Cable, based in Jiangyan district of Taizhou, has achieved a milestone in 2024, surpassing 1 billion yuan ($137.69 million) in invoiced sales for the first time. With first-quarter orders for 2025 reaching 100 million yuan, the company's annual sales are projected to exceed 1.2 billion yuan, driven by continuous investments in automation and intelligent manufacturing.
As a provincially-recognized high-tech enterprise, Dingchen Cable has accelerated its automation and smart production upgrades, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. The company allocates 3.5 percent of its annual profits to R&D, and earlier this year, it secured a patent for its enameled copper flat wire used in new energy vehicle drive motors. This innovation enhances the wire's vibration resistance and is expected to become a key growth driver for the company.

To expand capacity, the company also plans to invest 110 million yuan in a new 20,000-square-meter production and R&D facility focused on high-value-added products. Once operational, the project is expected to generate an additional 500 million yuan in annual sales.
