The 2025 Asia Triathlon Cup Taizhou took center stage at the Qinhu Lake Scenic Area from June 14-15, drawing 1,006 athletes and triathlon enthusiasts from 15 countries and regions, including China, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Brazil, New Zealand, and Malaysia. The event offered an exhilarating showcase of speed, stamina, and international sportsmanship.
The race course spanned Qinhu National Wetland Park and Qinhu Avenue, designed as a closed-loop circuit. For the elite competition, the standard triathlon distance of 51.5 kilometers included two laps of open-water swimming in Qinhu Lake, a transition to the cycling segment, with eight laps on Qinhu Avenue, and a final running segment of four laps along the lakeside road, concluding with a sprint finish at the Huichuan Grandstand Square.

In addition to the competition, a series of engaging "Sports+" exhibition and experience zones brought a dynamic festival atmosphere to the venue. The sports culture exhibition zone featured a photo exhibition showcasing a decade of highlights from the event. The tourism display zone promoted local tourism under the theme "Leisurely Tour in Jiangyan", while the cultural, sports and tourism experience area offered interactive booths for gear tryouts, pop-up markets, physiotherapy, and more—inviting visitors to experience an immersive triathlon lifestyle.
