Recently, Jiangyan Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Jiangsu Shangshou Biotechnology Co, and Dalun town in Jiangyan district participated in a formal signing ceremony for the Zhilin Food Project.
The project aims to consolidate and leverage diverse resources and specialized expertise to foster a comprehensive and advanced level of technological collaboration, injecting fresh momentum into the sustainable and high-quality economic growth, as well as the overall social development of Dalun town.
Covering 70 mu (4.67 hectares) of newly acquired land, the project features a total planned investment of 1 billion yuan ($140.68 million). It will include new factory buildings, an intelligent warehousing center, a research center, and a testing center, covering 32,000 square meters, as well as two additional production lines. When fully operational, it is projected to achieve annual invoiced sales of 600 million yuan.
Founded in 2016 and based in Dalun town, Jiangsu Shangshou Biotechnology Co occupies 50 mu of land and focuses on the deep processing of agricultural products, as well as food research and development and sales. Its product lineup includes whole-grain beverages, coconut milk, dairy drinks, coffee beverages, fruit juices, cereal drinks, and tea drinks, along with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) services. By the end of 2024, the company was recognized as a key leading enterprise in Jiangsu province for agricultural industrialization.
