The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded on Nov 4. A total of 19 high-quality enterprises from Jiangyan district showcased their products across 26 booths, receiving over 40 buyers daily from 32 countries and securing approximately $7 million in intended orders.
With the "online pre-matching + offline negotiation" model, Jiangyan enterprises achieved remarkable results in the Belt and Road markets, which accounted for nearly 30 percent of all intended orders.
Meilan Medical successfully expanded into high-end Middle Eastern markets such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a single order exceeding $450,000 and new market clients making up 65 percent of its total. Jiangsu Vincent Sports Co targeted South American markets like Brazil and Argentina, winning an $800,000 baseball cap order from three major sporting goods distributors.

Four local enterprises exhibiting under independent brand booths received intended orders totaling $2.8 million, accounting for 40 percent of the district's total. On average, branded enterprises saw order values 65 percent higher than non-branded ones.
J&F Headwear's LACKPARD brand signed deals with five South American outdoor goods distributors — a 40 percent year-on-year increase — while Vincent Sports secured a 48 percent repeat-visit rate among returning clients, renewing annual contracts with two Italian football distributors and expanding club-customized football orders by 300,000 units.
Jiangyan enterprises' achievements in standardization have greatly enhanced their competitiveness and international recognition. Meilan Medical attracted home care buyers with three patented products certified by Conformité Européenne (CE) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), reaching cooperation agreements with four European and American health brands and securing long-term intent orders from 12 new clients. Kangjian Medical Apparatus unveiled its GMP-certified 96-channel automatic capping machine, drawing attention from overseas research institutions and medical device dealers. It signed tentative deals with three Southeast Asian bioscience labs.
