The C9702 special train, carrying more than 600 Shanghai tourists, entered Taizhou Station on the morning of Dec 5.
This marked that Taizhou, champion city of the 2025 Jiangsu Football City League or Suchao, welcomed its first special train under the initiative of "Visiting the Champion City of Suchao".
These guests were greeted by a Taizhou-style welcome ceremony as soon as they got off the train. During the train ride, traditional Taizhou performances like puppet shows were staged, brightening up the atmosphere.

For their three-day journey, the guests visited venues such as the Yang Gensi Memorial Hall to experience the culture of Taizhou, strolled through the Qintong ancient town and the Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park to encounter the tranquility and vitality of the water town.
They also appreciated iconic attractions such as the Wanghai Pavilion and tasting appetizing early morning tea there.
The launch of the Shanghai special train this time is an important measure for Taizhou to integrate into the Shanghai metropolitan area and amplify the effect as the champion as the first edition of Suchao.
