As the starting signal sounded, the fun run team headed east from the sports park and proceeded along the old Nantong-Yangzhou Canal, one of the most beautiful running routes in Jiangsu province, enabling participants to enjoy the enhanced riverside system and the blend of ecological and cultural vistas.
Then was the speed run section. Five hundred running enthusiasts from all walks of life competed on a 4.5-kilometer track with a turnaround at the Buyun Bridge. The cheers and encouragement from residents on both sides of the track created a warm atmosphere.
The event wrapped up on a heartwarming note with the family run. Fifty families worked together to complete a 1.5-km collaborative journey, with parents and children running side by side – an inspiring scene that reflected a healthy lifestyle and harmonious family values.
