As Chinese New Year approaches, popular ice and snow landmarks such as the Harbin Ice and Snow World are seeing a surge in visitors. At the heart of these enchanting scenes lies the advanced snow-making technology supplied by Jiangsu Focusun Refrigeration Equipment, located in the Jiangyan High-tech Zone.
Focusun's production workshop is buzzing with activity as orders remain consistently high, with the production schedule now extended to April this year. In 2025, the company's shipment volume increased by 30 percent compared to the previous year, with sales revenue growing by 15 million yuan ($2.15 million).

"The snow-making machines need to operate stably in low-temperature environments, and every weld must be flawless," said Xu Bing, a production manager at the company. "A conventional refrigeration unit undergoes several key processes, such as cutting, welding, grinding, and surface treatment. These are carried out by a team of 10 skilled workers over a period of one to two months," He said.
Known for its superior quality, the company's snow-making equipment has been used at attractions like Harbin Ice and Snow World and Jiangyan Qinhuwan Bay Ice and Snow Kingdom, providing visitors with an immersive ice and snow experience. The equipment has also gained international recognition, being deployed in cold chain logistics projects and ice and snow parks in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
