Taizhou's first Hamburger Festival is in full swing at Sanshui Plaza in Jiangyan district, running from Feb 6 to 13.
This eight-day food event has brought together 60 specialty burger brands. It has ignited a consumption frenzy for the Year of the Horse through creative food offerings, exclusive Spring Festival items, and customer-friendly perks.
The Dabao Burger stall from Zhenjiang has been drawing a steady stream of visitors. Their meat patties are crafted using a recipe from a Michelin-starred chef and prepared in an Italian style. These patties boast a crispy, tender, and springy texture with rich layers.
The online fitness influencer Teacher Ma has also gained popularity. His Inner Mongolian-style burgers, made with hand-pounded beef and a fresh mushroom flavor, along with his signature burger loaded with caviar, black truffle, and foie gras, are in high demand.
In keeping with the Year of the Horse theme, the festival has introduced several Spring Festival limited-edition burgers, including the Fortune Cheese Burger, a symbol of good fortune, blending traditional New Year flavors with Western cuisine.
To provide tangible benefits to the public, the event is simultaneously distributing consumption coupons for the New Year goods market. Shoppers can enjoy a 10-yuan ($1.44) discount on purchases over 50 yuan and a 30-yuan discount on purchases over 100 yuan.
