A signing ceremony for KANGJIAN Medical Apparatus's intelligent manufacturing project was held in Jiangyan district, Taizhou, on Aug 10.
The project covers 50.2 mu (3.35 hectares) and is anticipated to house a 30,000-square-meter clean automated workshop, with advanced injection molding machines and automated packaging lines to be introduced. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 500 million yuan ($74.07 million).
Founded in 1998, KANGJIAN Medical Apparatus specializes in the research and development, and sales of disposable medical consumables, biological laboratory consumables, and supporting instruments. The company holds over 70 patents and has been recognized as a provincial-level specialized and sophisticated enterprise and a provincial-level smart factory. In the first half of 2026, the company reported sales revenue of 153 million yuan.
