Qinhu hairy crab, a nationally recognized geographical indication product from Qintong Ancient Town in Jiangyan district, became a favorite on family tables during Mid-Autumn Festival.
"The period around Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day is when the crabs are at their plumpest. The crabs we sell all come from our own aquaculture base, where they are raised using an eco-friendly farming model. With their meat firm and abundant, they are now available in large quantities," said Dai Sheng, a local crab vendor.
"Our daily sales at the store can reach 400 to 500 kilograms. Customers can buy them in person or place orders through WeChat and other online platforms. All orders are shipped via SF Express' cold-chain delivery service and can be traced throughout the process," Dai said.
Their reliable quality, reasonable prices and convenient purchasing options have earned Qinhu hairy crabs a loyal customer base. Many regular customers return, especially during holidays and recommend the crabs to their relatives and friends.
