Jingjiang city – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has made significant achievements over the past year and here are some highlights.

The regional gross domestic product or GDP of Jingjiang city in 2022 was expected to grow by 6 percent, according to preliminary figures.
Industrial added value above a designated size of Jingjiang grew by 9.5 percent and the general public budget revenue continued to grow.
Moreover, the value of total imports and exports was $4 billion, up 13.6 percent, a 10-year high.
Jingjiang ranks 20th in the country in the Basic Modernization Index

In December 2022, Jingjiang ranked 20th in the country, eighth in the province and first in Taizhou city in the Basic Modernization Index, according to official statistics.
Jingjiang also ranked 30th among the top 100 counties in the country for high-quality development and 21st among the top 100 manufacturing industries.
The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone enjoyed sound development in 2022.

The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone signed 151 new projects that each cost over 100 million yuan ($14.81 million) throughout the year.
Moreover, the actual utilization of foreign investment of the development zone was expected to be $180 million. In particular, the bonded logistics center (type B) has achieved a value of $400 million under customs supervision.
