Costing 2 billion yuan ($289.85 million), the plant will be built by CNBM's East China branch and Jiangsu Yongyi Cast Pipes Co Ltd and will be located in Jingjiang – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province.

Committed to becoming the largest integrated logistics platform for CNBM in East China, the facility will occupy a site covering 150,000 square meters and will comprise workshops, intelligent storage systems and other facilities that integrate transportation, storage, processing and trade.

A 50,000-metric ton bulk cargo terminal will also be constructed, with an annual throughput of 20 million tons.

China National Building Material Group Co Ltd is a State-owned enterprise and is also the world's largest manufacturer of building materials. Its East China branch has 20 holding companies and eight shareholding companies based in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Jiangsu Yongyi Cast Pipes Co Ltd is located in Jingjiang city. After over 40 years of development, it is a diversified operation based on the industrial casting business.

Plans are in motion for Jingjiang city to accelerate the construction of the new green and low-carbon building materials complex to boost its high-quality development.
