A total of 3.9 million yuan ($548,068.11) in one-time subsidies have been given to 4,215 grain farmers in Jingjiang city – a county-level city under the administration of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province.

These subsidies were designed to benefit farmers who had to bear the cost of rising agricultural prices, including those who grow grain on their own contracted land, large farmers who utilize their land for grain cultivation, family farms, farming cooperatives, agricultural enterprises, and other new agricultural business entities.

Agricultural businesses also qualify for the subsidies, including new agricultural setups.

Additionally, subsidies may be given to individuals and organizations that offer grain cultivation, planting and harvesting services.

The subsidy amount given to each individual will be based on the actual sown area of wheat and other crops in their fields this year. The designated subsidy amount is 20 yuan per mu.

To guarantee that all grain growers receive aid, financial institutions have been tasked with helping to distribute the funds through a provincial system.
