During the live-streaming session, freshly-picked honey peaches from a local orchard were showcased. With their plump shape and vibrant color, they were highly appealing to viewers.

Wang Jieming and Yang Xuhui, local officials from Wangjia village, acted as live-stream hosts, providing professional explanations and humorous introductions. The live-stream event received 17,000 likes within two hours.

The "Jingxiangxingnong" live-stream event aims to promote and publicize distinctive agricultural products in rural areas.

Jingjiang has been actively implementing comprehensive projects this year to promote e-commerce in rural areas. This is done in a bid to expand e-commerce coverage in rural areas, improve the rural commercial distribution system, and contribute to the city's rural vitalization efforts.

Utilizing the city's e-commerce public service center, Jingjiang is gradually establishing town-level e-commerce service stations and village-level service points to create a three-tier e-commerce service network that covers the city, towns, and villages.

It strives to achieve a rural e-commerce transaction volume of over 5 billion yuan ($692.43 million) by 2024, thus continuously driving rural vitalization efforts.
