Excitement aplenty has arrived in the wake of the 2023 season of the China 3x3 basketball league (Jingjiang tournament) – which kicked off on Aug 12 and runs to Aug 16 at the InCity shopping mall in Jingjiang city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
With over 200 top players from 28 teams, the banks of the Yangtze River have become the battleground for the thrilling tournament in Jingjiang.
The national competition league for 3x3 basketball games is the highest-level professional 3x3 basketball league in China and is made up of a Men's 3x3 Basketball Super League (Super 3), a Women's 3x3 Basketball League (3WL) and Men's 3x3 Basketball Super League Satellite (Super 3 Satellite).

Overall, in the national competition a total of 39 teams from 17 cities across the country – including Wuxi, Kunming, Nanjing, Guiyang, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Jingjiang – are participating in 18 tournaments.
The ongoing tournament in Jingjiang is the second round-robin of the season. It will see the 28 teams engage in 74 hard-fought matches, in a basketball extravaganza for the fans.

As part of the event, special night markets, music festivals and other events have been organized to boost the city and to stimulate cultural tourism spending.
