The 2024 "Huiju Mazhou" New Year's Shopping Fair was held on Feb 2-4 in InCity, a shopping mall in Jingjiang city – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.
The fair aimed to boost the Spring Festival market and showcase traditional Chinese culture. It featured a variety of merchants offering hundreds of New Year's commodities, including agricultural products and daily necessities.
Additionally, online platforms were used to expand sales channels for New Year's goods.
A variety of consumer promotion activities also got underway across the city's towns to stimulate consumer spending and lift rural vitalization.
